He holds a Doctorate, Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia in Computer Science. He has architected many IoT solutions in current and previous organizations. He has vast experience in various IT industries, with prime focus on areas such as Research and Development and patent creation. An authority in IPv6 and Internet of Things and a Leader in standardization forums, locally and internationally, he is the Chairman of Internet of Things & Smart Sustainable City Working Group under Malaysian Technical Standards Forum Berhad (MTSFB).

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yeong Che Fai is the Co-Founder & Director DF Automation & Robotics Sdn Bhd. He is an Associate Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Dr Yeong Che Fai is an Associate Professor at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He graduated with a PhD from Imperial College London. His key interests are in robotics, innovations and entrepreneurship. Together with his team, he has won more than 100 awards such as SOBA, British Invention Show, APICTA, ROBOCON and MOE Entrepreneurship Mentor Award. He is a serial entrepreneur and has co-founded several companies. One of the companies, DF Automation & Robotics, produces Industry 4.0 enabled robots which have been exported to Singapore, Thailand, India, Mexico and Europe.

Biruntha has had an eventful career with reputable organizations in the technology transfer and IP commercialization fronts by supporting and facilitating universities, research institutes, government agencies and private companies (SMEs) from various industries. Biruntha is a Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP) under Alliance of Technology Transfer Professionals (ATTP-US). She is also a registered Patent, Trademark and Industrial Design Agent with MyIPO and a guest consultant/ speaker for United Nations- Asian and Pacific Centre for Transfer of Technology (APCTT).

Professor Ir. Dr. Fatimah Ibrahim received her B.Sc.E.E. degree from Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA in 1989. She obtained her M.Sc. Electronics (Medical Systems) degree from the University of Hertfordshire, UK in 1994 and a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Universiti Malaya (UM), in 2005. She is a Professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, UM and a certified Chartered Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate and Medical Device Act 2012’s advisor. She was awarded the Top Research Scientist Malaysia from ASM Malaysia in 2019, UM Excellent Commercialization Award 2019, and the Engineering Medical Biological Society IEEE Malaysia Chapter the Academic Achievement Award in 2020.
